I have always walked where my path led me and never had a concrete dream or plan. Life has treated me well thus far, having spent 9 years of my working life in Miltrade Technologies, rotating through a multitude of roles and industries - defense, aerospace, thermal imaging, underwater survey, giving a then-young greenhorn the opportunity to travel around the globe and exposure to work with the biggest defense/aerospace companies in US, Europe and Israel. Somewhere along the line, I slogged three hard years and finally got my Law degree. It was one of the most difficult times of my life, having to study part-time and handle the stresses of fatherhood at the same time. Looking back now, what doesn't kill you indeed makes you stronger. Armed with the vast knowledge & skills I have acquired, I now ply my trade as a Contract Manager in Singtel (since 2015), supporting a wide portfolio of business units in Singapore. The telco industry has been undergoing turbulent changes, with movements in revenue streams from traditional channels (talk-time, SMS) to content/data. The business is constantly evolving to meet new challenges and I am glad to be part of the team that will bring about this evolution.**Updated July 2023**Life really goes full circle. I would never expect that my first three years working as a call-center agent would come into play now. As part of my promotion to Senior Manager, in addition to my existing Legal scope, I now oversee a small team providing support to Singtel's contact center operations in Singapore, Malaysia and Philippines. Everyone has humble beginnings but to be honest, I was never proud of 'that part' of my working life, Now, i appreciate it and I don't look like a (total) idiot to my new colleagues during ops meetings. Nothing is ever wasted and every experience is valuable.
