About Eric Christopher

I have a bachelors degree from Ohio University in Computer systems in Business.I have been in IT since July 1986 after graduation. I have 10+ years working in mainframe invironments using Cobol, CICS, JCL, VSAM, etc. I also have 12+ years experience working with Peoplesoft on an Oracle Database with a short period of time spent working on SQL Server Database.I have successfully designed, developed and supported applications based on the delivered Peoplesoft HR and Finance products, both in heavily customized and mostly vanilla applications. My previous assignment was a an application upgrade of HR followed by a Finance upgrade, where I was working as the Team Lead for the Time and Labor on the HR upgrade and the Technical Lead for the GL portion of the Finance upgrade. I have Peoplesoft Payroll experience and have worked with some of the self service applications.I have worked on projects from conception to go-live and then to support, both in new installation and upgrades.Specialties: I am knowledgeable in Peoplesoft HCM, primarily with T&L and Payroll, but have Financial experience also working with GL, with some time spent working on Projects, Purchasing, eprocurment, and have worked on some AP functionality as well as Treasury.I have been to the Peoplesoft PeopleTools 1 and 2 training as well as the PeopleCode Class.I have worked with Peoplesoft programming tools including Application Engine, SQR, Peoplecode, Component interfaces, Application Messaging, etc.
