An avid experimentalist, my knack for seeking out adventures in unchartered territories has produced the most unexpected and positive results. Fancy learning about counter-terrorism advisories by going through a (simulated) terror attack at the movies? How about learning to discern real news from fake by plunging yourself in a simulated virtual space? Passion for People.All of us have superhero powers of some sort, and mine’s the ability to empathise and work with nearly anyone. At work, I often play the role of the connector, facilitator, and catalyst. In the community, I love moderating dialogues, host events, and I take great joy in mentoring the youth. A believer of servant leadership, I’m most proud when people I work with do well!Problem Solver.Another mantra of mine - make things happen. Some examples. Planning for and executing four (almost consecutive) overseas deployments, a biennial multi-agency security exercise, and a major operational standby - all within the span of half a year, took teamwork and resolve. In tackling the twin challenges of maintaining responder fitness and proficiency, as well as sustaining community interest in picking up preparedness skills, Falconites’ Challenge - an Olympics-styled challenge for amateur and professional responders, was conceptualised.
