Designer using AutoCAD 2014 - 2017, Civil 3d and MicroStation V8i for Kiewit Engineering & Design, to work on heavy industrial and power generation projects all over the world.• Successfully managed multiple ongoing projects simultaneously, serving as an Electrical Drafter/Designer to Develop, Create and modify Drawings. • Helped revamp existing client CAD Standards to better maintain them through the workflow and helped revamp existing Kiewit CAD Standards to implement lessons learned.

Executes assignments in Iraq for the United States Air Force, repairing the infrastructure of Joint Base Balad in preparation of handing it over to the Iraqi government at the end of 2012. Formulates drawings and carries out design in every discipline: Civil, Structural/Architectural, Electrical, Comm, Security, I&C, Mechanical and HVAC, Field verification, field engineering, pre-bid walkdowns with the contractors and engineers and mentoring the Air Force Engineering Assistants. Projects are completed using AutoCAD 2009 and Civil 3D 2009.

Proactively set up Base Maps for a Project in Trinidad & Tobago, establishing the Coordinate Base system using AutoCAD 2009 and interfacing with Google Earth for Presentations and collaboration between offices. Enabled traffic phasing and utility crossings for all the intersecting roads and a major river on a road project located on Camp Jejune, North Carolina. Projects were completed using AutoCAD 2008, MicroStation V8 and InRoads.

Proactively designed and afforded CAD support for the Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation at the Cooper Nuclear Station. Executed all of the Civil, Structural, Electrical, Comm, Security, Mechanical drawings in support of the project as the lone Designer/Drafter that included Isometrics of the entire fuel pool with all associated structures and 3D models of the crane for stress analysis using AutoCAD 2009. Utilized Carlson Civil Suite for civil site design and design of the Heavy Haul Road.

Served in this capacity for the United States Air Force, upgrading Al Dhafra Airbase in preparation for an increased role in the war. Assigned roles included Project Management, Project Estimating using Progen on Proposals for AF and Corp of Engineers JOC Projects, Writing Statement of Work (SOW), Review of Contractor's submittals, and executing drawings and design in every discipline: Civil, Structural/Architectural, Electrical, Comm, Security, I&C, Mechanical and HVAC, with work in Civil 3D with points and DTMs, Field Walkdowns, Field Engineering and Field Modifications to Projects.

Coordinated the work on various Texas DOT projects, including the SH45SE Project and Pass though projects such as the SH289 Project. Ensured completion on all aspects of the project including updating and maintaining the existing Base Maps, cutting sheets, creating new cells, maintaining cell libraries and resource files, coordinating work with other sections, assembling the final design package for submittal, and mentoring and directing the junior drafters. The Project was completed using MicroStation J, MicroStation V8 and Geopak.

Ensured coordination of work on various Nevada DOT, Oregon DOT and CALTrans projects, including runway expansions on several municipal airports, environmentally sensitive projects in the Lake Tahoe Basin, Light rail projects in California and civil sight design on a coal fired power plant in Nevada and steel detailing on a bridge over the Yuba River in California and Municipal road projects in Oregon. Carried out all aspects of the project from creating and maintaining Base Maps, cutting sheets, creating new cells, maintaining cell libraries and resource files and coordinating work with other offices through to the final submittal, using AutoCAD 2004, MicroStation J, and InRoads.

Coordinated all work endeavors on various Nevada DOT projects, including the I-95 Project where I designed the on ramps and off ramps for Rancho Dr, Valley View Blvd, Decatur Blvd and Jones Blvd and assisted in the design of the new over passes at Jones Blvd and Valley View Blvd. Also contributed as a lead designer on the US-60 Superstition Highway Project. Completed all aspects of the projects, ranging from updating and maintaining the existing Base Maps, cutting sheets, creating new cells, maintaining cell libraries and resource files, coordinating work with other sections, assembling the final design package for submittal, mentoring and directing the junior drafters.

Coordinated all work with NDOT design staff on this and other ongoing NDOT projects. Executed the initial Base mapping using existing Nevada DOT maps, then spliced in any recent completed construction.

Charged with leading the day-to-day operations as the Site Lead, with responsibilities for receiving the work from Denver and breaking it up into sections, making sure all the information was provided and distributing it to the junior drafters and designers by skill level. Also supported MicroStation.

Worked on every aspect of the project, from running cross-sections to calculating quantities; worked on the bridges at 90th South and 106th South Bridges doing Concrete and Steel Drafting and Detailing; civil design of the detention basins at the I-15 – I-80 Junction and worked on the Advance Traffic Management System design.
