Our great country is faced with a myriad of new challenges; one being the skilled trades labor shortages. I believe the bridge between transitioning service members and the skilled trades, is a great option and fills so many facets of transitioning service member's capabilities and creates the opportunity for near simultaneous income while filling a skilled trades shortage in the USA. We are always going to need a structure to live in, water, electric, sewer, HVAC, and all the other amenities we love as Americans. Advocate for #changethenarrative; the overarching idea that trades are not for those "who can't go to college", nefarious persons, and females, but rather an extremely viable option with little overhead cost to learn, get a great career, make life for a family, and is nondiscriminatory against gender.
