As a Citrix Engineer at Ardent Health Services, I am an integral part of a seasoned team of IT professionals. Among my key responsibilities are:Leading Citrix-related initiatives to support organizational objectives.Designing and architecting comprehensive application delivery solutions across the enterprise.Ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards in system provisioning and maintenance.Rolling out new technologies, including the meticulous transfer of knowledge from the engineering team, to guarantee smooth transitions to production environments.Managing strategic enterprise projects, adhering to deadlines and executing project taskOverseeing more than 1,600 Virtual Apps and Desktop servers, including Citrix StoreFront, PVS, and NetScaler Access Gateway, across diverse Active Directory Forests and Domains for around 16,000 concurrent users.Overseeing the lifecycle of Citrix services enterprise-wide, from documentation and server builds to maintenance, monitoring, support, upgrades, and decommissioning.Managing data within corporate systems for change, problem management, and requests, ensuring timely completion and escalation of issues.Installing and configuring a variety of software, system updates, and patches across different hardware platforms.Analyzing monitoring data to identify trends and develop strategies to prevent future issues.Maintaining operations of enterprise shared services and aiding the application teams as necessary.Conducting training sessions and mentoring team members to enhance their technical skills.Providing level 3/4 support for all Citrix infrastructure services through incident management systems.My qualifications include extensive knowledge of Citrix Software solutions, including Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix StoreFront, Citrix PVS, and NetScaler Access Gateway, as well as a thorough understanding of Microsoft Server OS versions and core infrastructure services like DNS, DHCP, IIS, and AD group policies.
