I work in a fast paced warehouse, we prepare lighting and sound systems to the BBC and other high profile clients. On a day to day basis I carry out the following duties.1. Managing all aspects of the warehouse.2. Ensuring the staff are correctly dressed, and where they should be.3. Making sure all deliveries are correct and ready to leave in the best possible standard.4. Liaising with the Office staff making sure deliveries are correct to quote.

I look after a team of men who load Frozen, Grocery, Chilled products onto Lorries at night.I look after there training, staff rotas, make sure they load correctly, ensure this is done safely within set guide lines. I make sure we reach deadlines within a fast paced enviroment.

• Management of the loading and dispatch warehouse operation• Direct responsibility warehouse operatives on a night shift• Management of all resource requirements including people, PPE, daily checks on all Vehicles and reporting faults• Meeting and exceeding KPI’s• Constant review of processes and systems to ensure operational needs are achieved at all times• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation is in line with company policy• Development and maintenance of effective communication channels across the warehouse operation including, daily operational meetings, team briefings and shift handovers

I worked as a Grocery Line Manager, I had a team that filled shelves within the store.I looked after there training, staff rotas, made sure all KPIs were reached, made sure customer service was excelent at all times, and kept the highest standards.

I joined the Royal Artillery when I was 16, I have worked as a Gun Number, and also worked in stores.I spent 7 years on the Guns, and moved to the stores side of life accounting for military stores from paint to weapons. I have accounted for stores for over £6,000000, and stream lined there accounting.I left the Army as a Sergent, after compleating a contract of 22 years.
