I write and publish books and articles, some of which can be found under pen names.

I designed book interiors and the occasional book cover. I composed and sometimes corrected books as well and even cleaned up text.

Conceptualized, pitched, wrote art specifications, and wrote literacy materials, stories, and nonfiction books at Grade Levels Prekindergarten to Grade 2 as a freelance literacy specialist. I'm really just an ordinary writer, editor, and reader myself, but it translates well to literacy materials because I devote myself to readability.

I typeset and corrected the text and design of text-based, popular trade books for publishers like Random House, Simon & Schuster, HarperCollins, Penguin/Putnam, and many others, all done according to their original specifications and their own professional designs, which they needed our technical help in doing in order them to help them succeed despite their tight, overwhelming schedules. I used, and still use, basic typesetting and design skills that I learned while working on the great books of the finest United States trade publishers. After a while, I worked almost exclusively on the original production shells and design specifications and samples of these high-end, well regarded publications.

I corrected, composed, and designed the text of books.

I wrote and edited books and articles for clients such as Scholastic, Crown, and other children's publishers.

Attended to the needs of this independent, small-chain bookshop in the historic Colony Mill Marketplace (no longer extant) location, since they moved closer to Main Street.
