At Becht, our team of engineers helps our clients do just that, whether the problem is the renovation of their next office space, design of their new school building, or replacement of their aging building infrastructure. An office relocation, or construction of a new building, or upgrade of a major building system, is a problem that most businesses, facility managers or building owners only navigate a few times in their careers. My role is to see the overall picture and understand how each aspect of the project (technical, financial, cultural, political) impacts the others, so that I can guide our clients and help them make the best decisions for their business, both operationally and financially.Specialties: Broad expertise in all major building infrastructure systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing fire protection, etc.). Strong commitment to energy efficient design; energy efficiency isn't something that we think about adding, it fundamentally informs the design decisions that we make throughout a project. Extensive construction administration experience with a deep knowledge of client operations, and how projects are developed, funded, approved and contracted in both the public and private sectors.
