Was approached by client to take over development on a cloud based web application intended to handle all aspects of managing a restoration contracting business, from timecards and wages to project costs and contract signatures. The application was already full featured but had been designed without proper Object-Oriented techniques, with little thought to scalability and had become very rigid. Implemented source control, issue tracking, automated deployment and staging servers, all of which had been missing from the existing process. Moved the design to Azure from a basic hosted provider and began a full revamp of the application focusing on scalability and the most salable features. Released the initial revamp which included scalable file storage, DB and web application servers, calendar based scheduling with external calendar integration, responsive layout, overhauled accounts payable / receivable (a mini QuickBooks), integrated help system and redesigned most other areas of the application.

Responsible for most technical aspects of the Syn-Apps VoIP application product line. Performed sales consulting, customer support, feature enhancement, custom development as well as new application architecture and development. Moved into the lead architect role as the team grew and was generally responsible for design proposals, API specifications, product development, final product integration and packaging, internal systems development and product maintenance.Worked with steering team members to determine the most profitable custom development and OEM opportunities and in most cases worked directly with the customer or OEM partners to specify the design. Developed a deep understanding of VoIP systems programming, call control protocols, API’s and related systems for major VoIP platforms - Cisco UCM, Avaya, ShoreTel and generic SIP based PBX. Designed enterprise notification and other WFO applications that integrated with numerous disparate devices including IP Phones, IP Speakers, PC, MAC, CAP, Analog Systems, IVR’s, mobile devices and many more. Invented, designed, developed and or maintained numerous VoIP applications, systems and features including call accounting, call alerting, call directory, automated paging attendant, nurse call system, CAP notification system, auto-conference, emergency alert and many more.

Member of the CPU design team for the Jupiter 2 processor.- Member of a team that designed and received a patent for "Data processing system utilizing multiple register loading for fast domain switching". Basically this was a bank of registers that could be initialized in unison. - Worked on a team that expanded the current CPU hardware emulator system (META) to couple in a newer emu system (APTIX). The DN/FP units of the processor were partitioned into the newer emulator.- Proposed and redesigned the shared cache IC layout into an FPGA with manual placement of components to achieve a performance improvement over the existing IC. Cycle time was under 5ns which met the goals and allowed the new shared cache to be programmed into an existing chip rather than fabricated from scratch (orders of magnitude in cost savings).
