Engineering Supervisor
Current► Physical Assets Management: Oversee the protection of physical assets, facility and equipment maintenance, and facility housekeeping; identifies physical resources to meet business needs; describes the appropriate use of existing physical tools, equipment, and materials.► Project Management: Implementation objectives, project plan, and one's role within a project; participates in the implementation of a project; provides timely, thorough, and concise updates for the area of responsibility; identifies areas of risk and appropriately communicates them to the project manager.► Demonstrates project planning processes, including bidding, awarding, contracts, change orders, scheduling, estimating, invoicing, contractor/vendor procurement, and planning action items and resources.► Technology Implementation: Able to communicate designed and developed technology solutions and their desired outcome in general terms; expresses the importance of effective implementation; develops implementation plans.► Identify and schedule necessary repairs and preventative maintenance using Plant Engineering mechanics and outside vendors to maintain the condition of the facility.► Maintain environmental compliance following UPS environmental programs; Oversees audits and ensures facility, system, and process compliance on regulatory agencies which regulate UPS operations to promote UPS workers' environmental health and safety and the surrounding community.► Develops projects from concept to completion to meet operational/district/regional requirements.► Maintains control of project expenditures to avoid cost overruns.► Supervises contractors and vendors to maintain control of project schedules and costs.
