We are analysing all different methods of interaction (from conventional yoke, side stick, CCD to the touch screen). All these new technologies are evaluated to be integrated and eventually certified on our aircraft. In addition to supporting the avionics group, I 'm deeply involved in the reconfiguration of the cockpit layout to make sure the M100 is not only a certified aircraft but mainly a robust design that allows to reduce the pilots workload, minimizing human error and optimized the cockpit environment to make the M100 a leader in its category.I'm the first (and so far the unique) Human factors expert to be hired at Mitsubishi Montreal and we had plan to develop a complete Human factors team that I could lead. The intend of this group is to cover all design aspects of the aircraft from pure avionics to physical design. So far, my role in the Work-pack 1 is to coordinate with different teams of experts coming from various ecosystem disciplines.I'm the lead for defining the High Level Flight deck requirement (Include Avionics, Flight Ops and Human factors).Reviewing TRD (Technical Requirement Documents) for lighting, flight panel, avionics manual controls, pedal and flight deck layoutReviewing and performing simulation on CATIA for RPS systemRecently I'v been requested to support the HFAC team in Nagoya for critical items:- Windshield distortion- New Flip guard configuration for PBA- Agencies Challenges (199 items)- Develop CAS philosophy (prepare documentation for the authorities)- and much more Show less
