Responsible for rehearsing and improving the 45-52 member trumpet section of the UCLA Marching Band. Needed to maintain contact with the Band Director, Gordon Henderson, and relay necessary information to rest of the Section. Needed to be aware of abilities of each member of the section and maintain rankings for reference by the Band Director. Also, took on additional responsibilities as deemed necessary by the Band Director.

Contacted incoming freshman and transfer students at UCLA and encouraged them to audition for the UCLA Marching Band. Put together envelopes to mail to interested freshman containing information about the UCLA Marching Band. Answered questions about the band and offered advice for the audition process. Organized Small Pep bands to play at UCLA New Student Orientation Sessions. Was Co-Head of the 5 person crew in 2013, which entailed additional responsibilities of assigning duties to other members, updating profiles of prospective contacts, cataloging accepted applicants, and maintaining contact with the Director of Bands, Gordon Henderson.
