For many years I have conducted historical research for temporary and permanent exhibits at Burnaby Village Museum. This includes using primary and secondary sources to place the themes in the context of local Burnaby history. I also select historical photos and other resources, design interpretive signs, suggest artifacts for display, present my findings.
As a museum interpreter, I have many roles:- public heritage interpretation- program planning- special event planning and implementation- site and staff supervision
