McCormick Research Institute (MRI) is a nonprofit organization that provides evidence-based equine-assisted therapies for veterans, children, and adults with disabilities. As the CEO of MRI, I oversee the strategic direction of the organization and ensure its sustainable growth and social impact. I have more than 20 years of experience in business and social entrepreneurship, and I leverage my skills and knowledge to create innovative solutions and partnerships that benefit our clients and stakeholders.Prior to joining MRI, I founded and led Davidson Corp, a consulting firm that helps nonprofits, social enterprises, and veteran-owned businesses achieve their missions and goals. I hold an executive degree in business administration from Stetson University as well as specialized training in Military Resilience. As a former U.S. Army noncommissioned officer, I am committed to the health and welfare of our nation’s heroes. I am also a motivational speaker and a passionate advocate for equine-assisted therapies and their positive effects on physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
