Highly motivated, extensively trained, and accomplished police executive with versatile experience in law enforcement with the Kentucky State Police. During my tenure with the state police I held assistant commander’s positions in both uniform operations and criminal investigations. I have successfully assisted or directly commanded three K.S.P. Post and special details in excess of seventy K.S.P. sworn and civilian personnel. Outstanding organizational skills, have in part, or directly developed operational plans for major public events in the Commonwealth of Kentucky to include but not limited to: the Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event, the Governor’s Derby Breakfast, K.S.P. participation at the University of Kentucky football and basketball games, and the World Equestrian Games. Retired from K.S.P in 2013 and began second career as a Team Leader at Berea College Public Safety. Responsibilities include, assisting the Director with day-to-day operations of the department, supervision of subordinates, scheduling, training, graduation and traffic detail planning, internal investigations, and student conduct investigations. In addition to the above responsibilities, I am a liaison to the Judicial Team, I have served as a Title VII / IX Investigator, and sit on the college Safety Committee.
