As part of the sales team, I'm responsible for identifying clients in Belgium and Luxembourg with a genuine business need for new software support services (with focus on cloud migration and open source).

After an 18 month assignment as business operations manager at one of our main services units (including sales operations, incentive plan management, process and compliance follow-up) I moved on and managed as Project Executive outsourcing contracts with large corporations. IT outsourcing really kicked off in Belgium around 1994/1995 and typically involves multi-million dollar contracts. As part of the sales team in our Strategic Outsourcing unit I closed several contracts with several European clients.

I moved to our sales organization and closed my first contracts. In 1992 I was awarded with the Golden Circle, which is IBM’s way to celebrate top performers on a global level.

I started off as a programmer/analyst on a systems integration project for a large insurance company. Then I worked as a system engineer in our business recovery center and conducted my first assignments as project manager at our networking division.
