I put my Android skills to good use helping build software that actually matters.Mighty Networks helps their Hosts make a living and in turn they make a difference to their Members lives.Some of my contributions I made to the Android project at Mighty include, but are not limited to:- Updating the project with the latest dependencies to prepare the way for it's modernization.- Helping push the migration of the application from Java and towards the Kotlin programming language.- Take a large part in the design and modernization to the project's internal architecture.- Aided in implementing the move to "Spaces" that was a direct answer to users need for better organization and navigational constructs. This feature was huge and landed smoothly, I am proud if it.- Designing, implementing, and testing many navigational improvements.- Helping usher in the migration to a modern UI toolkit.All in all my contributions are aiding in the long term growth and maintenance of the product.While helping Mighty, Mighty also helped me. I grew as a person thanks to my incredible manager and team. When I started my communication skills left much to be desired (at a senior level at least). Mighty helped me overcome those challenges. I learned how to rally others towards a cause and to incite good relationships between colleagues. I brought the humility to the table and with it Mighty brought the growth. Judo is providing truly cutting edge, low code, server driven UI tech to marketers that helps keep usersinvolved and engaged!My job is doing my best to help with the Android side of the full development lifecycle.I have designed and built a large portion of the their Android SDK.Portions of the SDK I built include: - Design and create a framework for Unit and Integration testing the projects systems.
 - Networking layer that communicates with backend services. - Navigation control (moving from screen to screen)
 - One half of the rendering engine (transforming data for consumption in the UI layer).On top of typical development work I also took part in ensuring our clients integrate our products correctly with their own.

Boost, Nourish, and Thrive are just a few of the applications I worked on at CDL.Architecture, testing, feature development, and every other part of the Android development lifecycle were all part of a days work at CDL. The most important thing I did at CDL is what everyone else there did, support one another in making world class software! Some more specific accomplishments were:• Devise, implement, and document new architecture for 5 different applications.• Refactor the core codebase to be testable and robust.• Integrated machine learning libraries for barcode scanning.• Tutored the existing developers on the Kotlin language.• Added support for highly flexible UI’s via Epoxy which increased app engagement.• Took part in public speaking and demoing projects to the development team.• Brought the application to a AAA Accessibility standard.• Internationalized the application for French.• Spearheaded the implementation of many new features.• Collaborated and coordinated with external development teams.• Integrated Google Pay, NFC, and Location services.

I helped TribalScale build bespoke Android solutions for their clients.TribalScale practices Extreme Programming on a non superficial level. The products created at TribalScale hold true to the heart of what their clients company is doing and representing.One of the key responsibilities I had while working with TribalScale was manning their Pair Programming demo booths at the Takeover Innovation Conference which was a big hit among those interested.

mobileLIVE is a hugely respected member of the technology industry! I was but a humble Android Developer helping them help others accomplish HUGE things. While I was there I worked on multiple enterprise applications with huge code bases.

SceneDoc was a start-up during my time there meaning we all wore many hats. That said, some of the hats I wore were Quality Assurance, Development Operations, Quality Control, Android Development, Test Automation (iOS/Android), IT, and at times Customer Success Management. Some of my most notable achievements with SceneDoc has been to significantly reduce crash and bugs rates by implementing an automated and manual testing process. I also helped with educating the team on S.O.L.I.D programming principles along with how to re-architect the application in order to reduce development time in the future.SceneDoc is really making waves in the public safety space!
