Responsibilities•Creative direction, conceptualization and management of marketing and advertising for Grand Traverse Resort and Spa as well as Turtle Creek and Leelanau Sands Casinos.•Identify and negotiate media buys for all aspects of Grand Traverse Resort & Casinos.

Primary responsibilities are to generate positive media coverage and enhanced brand recognition for Hagerty Insurance, the world's leading provider of classic car insurance. Networking with journalists, developing media campaigns that produce coverage has established myself as a valued industry resource for media contacts.PR Responsibilities•Create and research PR campaign concepts that generate media coverage and exceed PR goals. PR campaigns I have personally developed in the past 12 months have been featured in major U.S. and U.K. media outlets including NYTimes.com, Forbes.com, CNNMoney.com, Yahoo.com, Popularmechanics.com, Motortrend.com, Autoweek.com, Insurance Journal (print & web), Dallas Morning News (print & web) and UK-based Classic & Sports Car among others.•Develop strategy behind each PR campaign and manage until successful completion including: defining and obtaining resources, overseeing project deliverables and finalizing these deliverables.•Write weekly PR reports for use by corporate management who analyze media hits and promote current PR projects.•Write press releases primarily for print and online media outlets.•Pitch journalists, coordinate and prepare company representatives, including CEO McKeel Hagerty for interviews.•Monitor print, web, social media to track Hagerty and competitor press hits.•Coordinate national classic car event which resulted in national media exposure for Hagerty.•Work directly with various Hagerty department personnel to identify business objectives and PR needs.

Research, negotiate and provide recommendations for advertising purchase consistent with marketing goals within television, radio and print media.Media Planner Responsibilities•Identify, negotiate and prepare media buy proposals and cost recommendations for executive review. Media buy contracts negotiated include TV networks such as Speed TV, Velocity (formerly DiscoveryHD) and print publications including Autoweek, Hemmings Motor News, Motor Trend Classic among many others.•Create and maintain advertising Flight Schedules to ensure advertisements run with correct specifications at the right time (ex: Full page (8.5x11 in.) ad in Automobile Magazine for July issue).•Maintain and monitor monthly advertising expense to budget, communicating variances to management in timely manner.•Track advertisement placement and monitor performance (ROI).•Act as manager for a variety of marketing projects which include the creation of advertisements and market research studies.

•Michigan resident Property and Casualty Personal Lines Producer License. •Non-resident Property and Casualty Personal Lines Producer License in 48 states excluding Hawaii and Alaska.•Take inbound calls and provide quotes to insurance agents and direct clients. •Process policy endorsements, renewals and changes.•Work with underwriters to issue policies and evaluate risk.

•Write content including player features, team statistics and also contribute to design of 2006 Philadelphia Soul media guide.•Write press releases and media alerts for AFL and Philadelphia media outlets.•Arrange player and coach interviews.•Coordinate and work community relations events in Philadelphia area with schools, museums and other 501(c) (3) organizations. •Track and archive newspaper and website clippings.
