Systems Analyst Ii - Sudbury Integrated Nickel Operations
CurrentNetwork Engineer-Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or upgrading current networks to improve efficiency.-Assessing business and applications requirements for corporate data and voice networks as well as for OT networks.-Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, firewalls, switches, wireless controllers, AP's, DNS and DHCP-Procuring network equipment and managing subcontractors involved with network installation-Translating user and/or systems requirements and information into functional technical specifications -Acting as a liaison between contractors/vendors and end users to ensure technical compatibility and satisfaction -Performing high-level root-cause analysis for service interruption recovery and creating preventive measures by Analyzing systems hardware and software problems and developing technical solutions-Writing and maintaining detailed systems documentation, including user manuals and technical manuals -Establishing and maintaining backup and version-control-Work with regional and global teams to implement standardized network and security segmentation.-Manage network and datacenter services across multiple sites including multiple WAN connections and implementing routing to ensure redundancy.-Implement and manage multiple internet demarcation points for various services across the organization.-Ensure site survivability in the event of WAN Failure.VMWare Administrator-Monitor and tune systems to achieve optimum performance levels-Troubleshooting ESX issues related to storage, network and performance issues-Design, implement and maintain VMware vSphere infrastructure including multiple clusters across various sites.-Monitor, troubleshoot and capacity planning of vSphere environment-Proactively identify and perform hardware and software upgrades-Provide technical guidance to other VMware administrators-Implement and maintain replication solutions across primary datacenters.
