Director of Loan Operations for the Crews family of banks (Wauchula State Bank, Charlotte State Bank & Trust, Englewood Bank & Trust, & Crews Bank & Trust).

Eric’s banking career began in 2006 at First State Bank of Arcadia (now Crews Bank & Trust) as a credit analyst and later as the Information Technology/Data Processing director. He joined Charlotte State Bank & Trust in 2008 as a Commercial Loan Officer and is currently the Vice President of Commercial Lending. In this position, he directly manages a commercial loan portfolio of approximately $30 million and assists in the overall management of the banks entire loan portfolio of approximately $200 million. He oversees the loan operations staff and makes executive decisions.During Eric’s tenure, the bank has experienced steady growth and successfully weathered the financial crisis that plagued many banks beginning in 2008. Eric’s leadership, collaborative spirit and his analytical and thoughtful approach to problem solving have contributed greatly to the banks success. In addition to his work at the bank, he served as an adjunct professor at Florida SouthWestern State College from January 2011- May 2014. In 2019, Eric was named a 40 under 40 winner by the Business Observer.
