Contracted to provide the Kansas City Regional Terrorism Early Warning Group with a Critical Infrastructure / Key Resources database system known as APRS (Asset Protection Response System). The system is used by Law Enforcement, Emergency Management and Private Sector agencies in the nine county bi-state Mid-America Regional Council (MARC) region. Full project lifecycle included close coordination and communication between development team, client and law enforcement entities involved with the project, system and database configuration, data entry screens, user management, data view screens, documentation and milestone reviews.

Designed updated interface using ASP includes templates wrapped around Perl logic relying heavily on structured CCS and dynamic JavaScript functionality. Application interfaced with a DB2 database and Active Directory and was installed in a Windows server environment.

Duties included developing Perl, JavaScript and XML based functionality hooking into Interwoven TeamSite software, a Web Content Management software solution for the Adidas website. Modified workflow and templating functions within TeamSite and developed logic to query third party software using SOAP and XML. Developed PHP based image upload and validation functions within WordPress blogging software.
