Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs and new installation of air handling units, chillers, cooling towers, refrigeration units, ice machines, boilers and rooftop units.

Monitor fire alarm systems, ensure all fire protection equipment is in working order, conduct inspections for fire hazards, ignition sources and any violation of city building/fire codes. Ensure all fire extinguishers and other emergency equipment are inspected and are in working order. Man the Fire Command Center and act accordingly in the case of a fire emergency. Maintain fire control panel and respond, report and record any trouble signal or supervisory signal. Train wardens, deputy wardens and fire brigade to know and understand the Emergency Evacuation Procedures. Provide hands on training to staff, give informative seminars and ensure the safety and security of all persons on premises.

Assist Master Electrician with maintenance, operation and repair of commercial and residential electrical systems. Perform installation and renovation tasks in order to ensure the effective operation of various electrical equipment.

Respond to alarms when available to assist at interior/exterior structural fire suppression, interior and collapse search and rescue, ventilation, motor vehicle fires/accidents; response to bomb threats, hazardous material investigation/spills, gas investigations, automatic and audible Alarm investigations, Training officer, 1st Lieutenant of E-101 Company #6, and assist instruction of Fire prevention at schools and churches within the community. Involvement with Ossining's Marine Unit (Marine 1), a unit composed of police, EMS, and fire personnel. Unit is specially trained for river rescue/survival, ice rescue/survival, nautical searches (daytime/nighttime), boat and marina fires, and hose-line operation from boat.

Maintain assigned pool plumbing, chemicals, and heaters. Help master plumbers with service calls and new plumbing instillation. Achieved many levels of experience and knowledge in household and commercial plumbing.
