About Eric Dopp
I believe software and artificial intelligence are the future and I want to try my hand at contributing to the collective development, starting with C# and .NET applications. I have worked with computers my whole life, built half a dozen myself, cut my teeth playing Age of Empires II when I was six, and now I want to make a career out of it.I was a pandemic healthcare worker who misses going above and beyond now that it's over. I joined Grand Circus's part-time C#/.NET coding bootcamp while working full-time to improve myself. I want to take what I have learned and apply it towards a new career that enriches the world and gives me a challenge.I revel in the busy-work, and I am eager to get into the workforce and learn hands-on. I have over a decade of work experience and I know how to handle pressure. I love working in a team but can be fiercely independent if the need arises.

This required a litany of training on six different benches with over 30 pieces of unique equipment that each required their own maintenance and controls in order to run properly.I was also trained in how to troubleshoot and fix them when they broke-down, which was several times a day across two labs. From something simple as a track jam to rebooting a million dollar aliquoter by knowing how/when to reset the CAM bus after exhausting all other troubleshooting options, and everything in between.I had to understand the clinical significance of almost a thousand different tests with their validations and ranges well memorized so I could answer physician and nurse queries over the phone. Not only would they be relying on me to tell them the significance of any given test, they would also be relying on me to understand when and where these tests fell short of their needs or, in the worst case, invalid by some external criteria. One such external interference comes in the form of reverse-pseudohyperkalemia, a very specific exception where potassium is falsely elevated only in plasma tubes and only when centrifuged for certain patients with no known cause. In the three years I have worked so far it has come up at least six times. Show less
