Designworks is a collaborative design firm that has been active in the field of design for over 30 years. Being a general practice, we have been involved in a wide range of projects from the design both new and remodel works of residential and commercial projects as well as community planning and landscape design.Designworks has a core group of professionals that, as needed, associate with other members in the design industry as project requirements are defined. This allows the firm to be responsive to very different project types with team members that are specifically selected to match project needs. This approach provides a project with the highest level of professional service at the greatest cost benefit and control for the client.Designworks has become known for its dedication to the highest level of design ranging from a historical, environmental and humanistic point of view. While meeting the client's programmatic needs,we also search for appropriate technologies, building systems that reduce energy needs, and the utilization of non-toxic, renewable or reusable building materials with the goal of nurturing a more healthy and sustainable future. Such strategies often provide both short and long term economic benefits as well. A fundamental aspect of the buildings and landscapes we create is to provide a much needed link between our direct experience of place to the natural and cultural systems with which we are inextricably linked.
