While working in this position, I ensured that procedures were followed by all team members in my group. I was responsible for as many as 20 team members and two team leaders at any given time. On average, the group size was approximately 10 team members. My responsibilities included items such as team member scheduling, process and inventory controls, quality controls, kaizen/muda elimination, just in time delivery, change point management, continual improvement, environmental policy and federal law compliance, and team members training and development.

In this position I was responsible for ensuring that all next day air packages were loaded safely and efficiently. All departure times had to be met in order to ensure on time delivery. I was also responsible for effectively communication any hazardous on board materials to the pilots before departure and supervisor a crew of approximately 5 load and unload crew members.
