• Champion on-site safety awareness and safe performance with contractor and among Project Team members• Assist contractor in early site construction planning/construction planning prior to site mobilization and/or start of the construction activities• Interface with Project Engineers, to resolve technical queries and to provide input into EMCAPS deliverables• Serve as day-to-day interface with contractor and craft labor during the Construction Phase, providing a focus on safety, quality, cost, and schedule– Provide safety monitoring/leadership– Review and approve (as required) permits to work, and ensure contractor’s compliance to Work Management System– Interface with QA/QC personnel to address quality issues/progress– Provide oversight of contractor’s materials management/verification systems– Ensure compliance with specifications, procedures, and plans– Monitor workforce productivity and progress relative to schedule– Monitor environmental compliance, as required– Interface with contractor for field level changes, e.g., scope, schedule, etc.– Verify post-site arrival of procured equipment and engineering equipment• Provide on-site support to the Construction Site Manager / Construction Site Lead as required• Coordinate Quality Audits and other site surveillance activities• Provide support to pre-commissioning/mechanical completion/systems completion as required. Coordinate system and mechanical completion activities including completion of inspection and test records (ITRs), also known as check sheets; coordinate system walkdowns, and steward completion of the work/activity up to handover to operations (closure of punch list items, and completion certificates)• Monitor construction contractors’ performance and provide regular reports to Construction Manager (daily, weekly, and monthly)• Perform other duties as requested

• Ensure regular Inspection and checks are made of the roads maintenance activities in progress in respect to technical and economic standard and remedy as appropriate.• Ensure all construction and maintenance activities taken on by NRA contractors are within the expectations of NRA:• Assist in plan, budget and organized the implementation of all construction and maintenance components of projects in an efficient and economical manner and• Reviews and seeks approval for fundamental scope change requests, after promptly assessing effect on cost, schedule and risk.• Responsible for cost effective execution of the project, delivering a fit-for-purpose facility meeting defined quality standards and minimum life-cycle costs.• Ensure communication between design, construction, end users, technical stakeholders and other projects, and effectively use the support of the project services group. • Proactively identifies threats and opportunities and clearly identifies issues & uncertainties throughout the project lifecycle. Adopts a problem-solving outlook, and directs resources appropriately. • Coordinates required logistics, personnel and ancillary services to allow for efficient field execution of the works• Assisting Community Relations officer (CRO) and contractors in dealing with landowner issues at project sites and recommend solutions.• Carry out such other functions and duties that may be delegated or assigned to positions
