• Responsible for all administrative functions for an area of Graduate, Upperclassmen and Continuing Education students of 12 facilities ( 6 renovated colonial period houses and 6 apartment style buildings, and 1 downtown high rise building of 11 floors) housing approximately 998 students.• Serve as professional liaison between the Residence Life Office and the Mount Vernon Company and assist with the management of 107 master-leased apartments from an off-campus residential facility housing 164 RISD students• Chair staff selection committee for all para-professional staff• Train, supervise, and assess 11 para-professional Resident Assistants• Present on relevant training topics for Resident Assistant In-Service Education• Assist Director of Residence Life with implementation of new housing data management • Participate in an on-call duty rotation with professional staff, providing crisis intervention and counseling to support students in need along with the Dept. of Public Safety and Counseling Center for campus population of approximately 1,400 residential graduate and undergraduate students• Manage and oversee all event planning, educational programming, and budget for 9 residential areas.• Collaborate with Foundations studies, Academic Advising, and Department Heads to implement support services and events for students.• Work alongside Facilities Management, Office of Information Technology, and Cox Communication staff on daily basis to address immediate student needs in addition to assisting with renovation and long term project goals• Provide hearings for students involved with policy violations, sanctioning educational opportunities for low-level cases, to hearing higher level cases involving housing contract termination, suspension or expulsion from the institution as a Hearing Officer for Division of Student Affairs

Oversee and develop cross-departmental team projects and develop strategic initiatives. Work closely with Associate Dean of Academic Resource Center and Provost of the college to plan and assess creative projects, and outreach initiatives in many areas across the college.

I work in an Academic Resource Center, in conjunction with ADA services and compliance, Academic Coaching, and Writing Specialists, by advising both new and current undergraduates students. In addition to this, I work closing with faculty department chairs from the disciplines of Animation, Flim/Video, Graphic Design, Illustration and Studio for Interrelated Media by assisting with the creation, implementation and interpretation. I assist students in planning their programs, maintaining academic transcripts, and reviewing graduation requirements. In addition, I oversee the training of the department (both professional and para-professional staff), I also work to identify and refer students that may be experiencing cognitive difficulties or experiencing trauma that impacts their academic progress.
