College of Arts & ScienceOffice of ResearchAs a member of the college’s Finance and Administration leadership team, the Senior Administrative Officer reports to the Chief Business Officer. The position partners with both the Dean of Research as well as the Chief Business Officer to facilitate research administration across the school’s three divisions, including over thirty departments.Serve as the original member of the newly established A&S Office of Research (2017), assimilate fourteen staff positions into the Office of Research’s oversight (2017-2024), and partner with faculty and staff college-wide for the advancement of the school’s sponsored research portfolio, valued at $35M-$52M annually.Coordinate policies, procedures, web applications, staffing, and accounting for the college’s pre-award and post-award sponsored research activities; liaison with University resources such as the Vice Provost for Research, Division of Administration, and General Counsel.
