I am a Software Engineer at a government contracting company. My goal is to continue learning and expanding my knowledge, as well as contributing to a team whom I can grow with.I come from a background of working at Chick-fil-A for eight years, where I met many inspirational people whom I hold in high regard. I grew so much as a manager, leader, and person with Chick-fil-A's leadership program. However, I always had a passion for programming since I was in high school. I learned a lot on my own in an event based programming language for a rudimentary chat system (IRC) which Slack, Discord, and many others have grown out of over the last 10-15 years. I also learned the basics of JS, PHP, and Java when I was young and did not have the options of taking a class for it when I was in high school. While at Chick-fil-A I undertook and completed a program called LaunchCode(https://www.launchcode.org/). The program taught me much more about Java, Angular, and full stack development architecture in general. Since then, I have been given the opportunity at my current company to continue to learn and grow, increasing my knowledge greatly in regards to implementing a CI/CD pipeline(with a lot of experience using Ansible & Jenkins to deploy AWS CloudFormation templates). I have gained a lot of experience with the AWS Cloud environment and the many services that are offered there to develop a microservice architecture (or to transition a monolitharchitecture to the cloud).
