Lead the development and engineering team for AWS SimSpace Weaver (Weaver).https://aws.amazon.com/simspaceweaver/Weaver is an AWS service used to scale your simulation in the cloud. Bring your simulation integrated with the Weaver SDK and Weaver will subdivide the simulation space into as many as 170 applications running in parallel on EC2. Using the Weaver SDK, these applications can communicate and replicate data amongst one another, giving clients the experience of a single large simulation. Helped launch AWS SimSpace Weaver for running large scale simulations with a focus on Developer Experience. Wrote many internal and external demos and samples and worked with launch partners on their products. Worked on initial engine integrations (Unreal, Unity) with AWS SimSpace Weaver.Worked on the successful (peak more than 900K concurrent players) MMO RPG New World. Contributed work on physics and optimizations around AI spawning and memory usage. Additionally worked on server side architecture that would aid in creating AWS SimSpace Weaver as a managed service for AWS customers.

SDET for Consumer WebsiteWrote automated testing solutions and quality tools for Weblab, Amazon's internal A/B testing tool. The automated tests were for jobs submitted to AWS's SWF and EMR services. The test suite allowed for developers to check their work as the wrote SWF and EMR jobs as well as served as the automated regression testing solution for the production jobs once they were written. I also wrote a tool to verify data quality of Weblab's processing pipeline. It would process the raw data independently of the platform and alarm if there was an unexpected difference.Helped create a tool to automatically gather code coverage data. The tool would then aggregate the data and had a front end to show how code coverage changed over time and with each commit. The tool gathered data for all developers at Amazon. This work was in Java for the back end and Ruby and Coffeescript on the front end. It also used the SQS and SNS AWS services.Helped verify the quality of Amazon Machine Learning AWS service during the launch push. This work involved writing integration tests for AML's EMR jobs. The tests could be launched by during development as well as used in automated regression testing.During this time, I also provided quality-focused guidance to developers and helped improve testing practices of the teams I worked with.
