 Performed financial justification for $15MM Operations improvement capital project. Operations leader for Learning and Development of all Operations employees (~600 Permanent and ~400 Temporary through Agency). Manage four production lines across 24 hour operation (Back-up manager for 30 additional production lines). Increased all KPI’s for production lines including Quality, Reliability and Efficiency with savings of over $1MM per year using lean manufacturing tools such as SPC, SMED, Standard work and various Root Cause Problem Solving Techniques. Managed the OQ/PQ process for two new production lines. Key Operations liaison to support groups such as Warehouse, Planning, Engineering, Product Development, Finance, Information Technology and Accounting. Operations Representative to update accounting practices for going Public.Manage the production of two different bulk processing groups simultaneously One department processed thousands of Kgs. of flammable liquids per day The other processed thousands of Kgs. of complex emulsions per day Improved internal benchmarking rating of bulk operations from 1.85 to 2.82 (scale 1-5) in one year.  Justified and implemented 2 - $1MM projects to increase production and improve safety Co-Leader of team to prepare plant for FDA certification.

 Developed manufacturing process for innovative new product including reaction chemistry.  Lead team in concurrently developing formulation, process and package design. Including simulation of chemical reaction and exothermic heat balance. Responsible for implementing into production a new line of consumer products including 5 different product forms. Select, validate, and continuously monitor outsourced suspension solid drug processing to insure compliance with FDA/Gillette standards/processes. Revamped business process as part of a team to decrease time to production from 1½ years to 6 months on development of new products. Responsible for scheduling of Pilot Laboratory resources including personnel for 7 engineers. Developed new manufacturing process using multivariate analysis and DOE to define critical process parameters, which increased manufacturing efficiency of suspension solids process producing 30 million units annually. Utilized design of experiments and product characterization to identify and optimize critical process parameters in the manufacture of a suspension solid. Used SPC, process simulation, and multivariate analysis to redefine an out of control production process within two weeks enabling manufacturing operation to resume production of a solution/solid FDA regulated product. Eliminated 15% product waste on a yearly basis for out of specification products. Developed and launched a solid suspension product within six months that was critical to re-establishing brand superiority.
