Instructor for courses including Introduction to Psychedelic-Assisted Therapies, Extending Mindfulness: Cultivating Resilient Presence, The Mindful Counselor, Compassion Training for Counselors, Diagnostic Psychopathology, and Large Group to Masters counseling students. Also served as Meditation Instructor for students.

Provide crisis counseling, conduct risk assessments and hospital admissions, create safety plans, and coordinate aftercare planning for veterans struggling with suicidality and mental health crises. Serve as field instructor for a student from the University of Denver's Graduate School of Social Work.

At the Life Skills Center (PRRC), conduct diagnostic intake assessments, provide individual and group psychotherapy and recovery advising, and plan and lead community integration activities. Member, hospital Whole Health committee.

Provided leadership and accountability for Peer Support Specialists who work in mental health clinics throughout the hospital system. As co-lead of hospital's Social Work Graduate Training program, developed curriculum and policies, revised handbook, and cultivated relationships with multidisciplinary partners to improve program. At the Center of Recovery Education (PRRC), managed inpatient and outpatient consults for veterans with schizophrenia-spectrum disorders, provided individual and group psychotherapy and recovery coaching, and conducted diagnostic intake assessments. As faculty on the VA/UCSD Interprofessional Fellowship in Psychosocial Rehabilitation & Recovery-Oriented Services, and as a Field Instructor with Columbia University and University of Southern California schools of social work, provided clinical supervision to pre- and post-Master's trainees, and developed and presented seminars on group psychotherapy and privilege and racism in the clinical encounter. As Co-Chair, VA San Diego Complementary & Integrative Health (CIH) Treatment Committee, led efforts to track and disseminate CIH interventions offered within VA San Diego and in the community.

Clinician/case manager at a 40-bed residential treatment program for homeless veterans with PTSD. Led trauma-focused Cognitive Processing Therapy groups and individual Prolonged Exposure therapy. Conducted therapy groups and yoga classes, and provided individual psychotherapy and recovery coaching. Screened candidates for admission and led treatment and discharge planning process. Implemented adoption of Homeless Veterans Dental Program and cultivated relationships with local housing partners. Other responsibilities included transition planning for veterans on VA San Diego's inpatient dementia unit and performing assessments for the Veterans Homelessness Prevention Demonstration program.

Led workshops on mindfulness, pranayama, trauma, and veterans for yoga teacher trainees.

Helped people with psychotic disorders in both in- and outpatient settings learn skills to move toward their goals. Led cognitive-behavioral and social skills training groups, provided individual psychotherapy and recovery coaching, and conducted diagnostic intake assessments. Led a work group on the hospital's inpatient psychiatric unit to improve recovery-oriented care.

Conducted individual Cognitive Processing Therapy sessions and co-led daily process groups and group in-vivo exposure exercises.
