Contract PositionUpdate remote users with new remote backup software. Used NetMeeting, Remote Assistance, Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) to interface with remote computer for migration. Checked the user's LAN ID and prepared requests for corrections as needed in Active Directory and sent requests for OU changes to Identity Management for updates. Updated Group Policies on the user's computer after changes have been confirmed. Installed Symantec Netbackup software and began the first back up of their computer. Performed the required checks on the NetBackup server to be sure that all backups completed successfully.
