I made my first sales call for the family business when I was around the age of 5 years old, although I had no idea. My dad brought me to a meeting with him, him with his briefcase carrying samples and quotes; and me carrying my briefcase full of legos. While most kids would play in a park on a Saturday, my Dad always thought that was a great day to cycle count inventory, and so my childhood jungle gym was the high-cubed shelving at our Tacoma office. Fast forward 25+ years and I am back in the business because it combines my biggest passions in life; relationships and family. Throw in the added bonuses of the industry we serve and communities we touch and this is the greatest career I could ask for – getting to serve those who serve others every day.
