For the 2023 season, I was responsible for the mechanical design of the accumulator and High Voltage (HV) system. This includes the designing the case and packaging of all internals from cell bricks to controllers to harness using Solidworks, and then testing for structural rigidity using Ansys. I'm also designing the HV box that contains some of the control electronics for the HV system.

As a recruit, I've learned how to use Solidworks, Altium, and Siemens Star CCM+ to design parts of the car. I've also been fortunate to do carbon layups, solder, machine, and assemble UT22's accumulator!

As a student researcher at the ATOMS Laboratory, I developed coupled electrochemical-thermal models of the University of Toronto Formula Racing Team's battery pack using COMSOL Multiphysics. I developed a single 18650 model, as well as an Enepaq module model. These models were validated through single cell testing, as well as with onboard car dat from the Formula Racing Team. Through this work, I improved my understanding of lithium-ion batteries, and set the foundation for the development of a digital twin of the Formula Racing Team's battery pack.

I learned how to use Plink and R on a Linux computer to perform Genome Wide Associations Studies (GWAS). Anton Sugolov and I developed a workshop and guide for high school students to learn how to perform GWAS's, and are currently adapting it to a university level.

This working group aims to determine how consensus was reached on public health recommendations by Health Canada, and whether it satisfies the criteria of knowledge-based consensus. If not, the group will attempt to identify why the consensus reached was not based on evidence.

As an undergraduate research student in the lab of Dr. Mark Lautens, I synthesized substituted quinazolinone derivatives for investigation as USP16 selective inhibitors. I also assisted Dr. Joachim Loup by producing substituted ortho-vinylaniline starting materials for nickel catalytic reactions.

As an Assistant Teacher at Spirit of Math, I aided in organizing the class paperwork, taking attendance and most importantly helping students if they are having any trouble understanding the course material.
