Eric Espinal is an Industrial engineer graduated from the Santo Domingo Institute of Technology (INTEC). In the year 2004 I went to graduate school to complete and achieve a Master’s degree in Management and Productivity and another Master’s degree in Financial Administration both given by the university APEC. Also, I continued with my formal education by completing in graduate school one-year program in High Management for Businesses and a second one-year program in Financial Administration.I am a certified ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor, also certified as OHSAS 18001:2007 Lead Auditor. Additionally, I completed the course to be certified as an ISO 28000:2007, Lead Auditor ISO 22301 Lead auditor, ISO14001:2015 Lead Auditor and ISO 14001: 2015 Internal Auditor, and ISO 45001:2015 Internal Auditor. In the Security field, I am a certified as a BASC Internal Auditor in its V5 version, as well as an International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS) Port Facility Auditor, and ISPS Auditor. I accomplished the certification of ISO 31000 Risk Manager validated by the PECB of Canada. I also have an OSHA 30-hour General Industry training course certification. Throughout my professional career I have participated various training courses and seminars related to, Project Management, Process Design and Improvement, Operations Management, Risk Management, Physical Security, ISPS Code, others.In the year 2014 I lead the team that accomplished the BASC Exporter Facility certification for Molinos Modernos, and in 2015, my team accomplished the Port Facility certification for the aforementioned organization. While working for Haina International Terminal (HIT), in 2018 and 2019, I was part of the team, performing a leading role, that started implementing the requirements of the ISO 14001:2015 Management System.I have an extensive experience as Lead Auditor and Internal Auditor performing audits under the ISO 14001, ISO 9001, ISO 45001, BASC, International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS), and Shell Aviation Standards and Shell Aviation Safety Standards.My experience has been validated by three Dominican governmental institutions by fulfilling their requirements to be a certified adviser in each of their respective areas: Ministry of Labor (Safety), Ministry of Environment, and the Superintendence of Private Security (Security Adviser and Private Investigator).
