I manage 2 Learning Partnership programs in New Brunswick. The Entrepreneurial Adventure Program in Fredericton Centre links students and teachers with a local entrepreneur who helps student develop entrepreneurial skills as they develop ventures with all profits donated to charity. Turning Points is a character development literacy program which engaged approximately 3.000 students in two New Brunswick school districts: ASDW and ASDS. Turning Points features partnerships between students, teachers, universities (student interns who act as Tier 1 Judges), and the professional community (Tier 2 Judges). Students write true stories describing their turning point. The best essays are published in a national anthology of student work.

During my time as President of CAP I was responsible for managing a National Principal's Board which met in Ottawa and chaired Executive Committee meetings. We focused on developing PD opportunities for school administrators and initiated discussions regarding the viability of commissioning a national study on the role of the principal.

During my time at River Valley Middle School implemented technology to teaching, adding smart boards and data projectors to all instructional areas; coaching teachers to enhance teaching practices through visual applications. We also implemented the Professional Learning Community philosophy which examined best practice at the time. We enhanced our positive school environment by adding an after school activity period to the school day.

My responsibilities as Supervisor for High Schools sand Middle Schools included: staffing (hiring new teachers and preparing interviews plus allocating staffing numbers to schools), organizing professional development sessions, dealing with appeals and parent issues, coordinating department policy with district policy, attending school meetings or functions and reviewing school policies.
