About Eric Farland

I was born in California in 1966 and grew up in Woodside.  I joined the Army in 1985, served in Desert Storm as a logistics specialist, and left the Army in 1993.  I discovered my passion for wood working while in high school and, although I dedicated over 20 years to working in a corporate environment, my journey brought me back to my passion.I have recently set out to put all my attention, skill and talent into creating exceptional pieces of art. I started working with the scroll saw and later moved to turning on the wood lathe. I went from building artful furniture to creating bowls, pens, and segmented pieces.I use several mediums in creating art including hybrid wood and epoxy/colored pencils that result in one of a kind pieces.I currently live in McDonough, Ga, with my wife. I am interested in expanding my footprint with displays in different galleries.
