This Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician position conducts preventative maintenance, troubleshoots and repairs electrical and mechanical components of CNC, PLC, FANUC Robot, water jet, shotpeen, chemical clean, waste water, and other special process support equipment. This position also supports infrastructure maintenance and fabrication.

Operate and maintain dimentional characteristics of various NC mills, creep feed grinders and EDM machines for production of turbine engine components using Fanuc and Haas controls.

Licensed Airframe and Power Plant Mechanic with eleven years experience in all aspects of maintenance on B767, DC9, and DC8 aircraft, including C and D checks. Strong in effectively and efficiently troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, oxygen, and mechanical systems.Very good communication skills, both written and verbal.Routinely worked at elevated heights or on uneven surfaces by using scissor lifts, boom lifts, or ladders while using appropriate safety precautions.Frequently traveled for extended periods, many times, at a moment's notice to return an aircraft to service.Read and interpreted manufacturers' and airline's maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, system schematics, service bulletins and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.Skilled in the use of standard shop equipment including manufacture and testing of cables, hydraulic tubing, electrical harnesses and simple NDT such as dye penetrate inspections.Trained dozens of co-workers annually and achieved significant improvements in their productivity.Delegated Trainer for tug and towing of aircraft, marshalling, fork lift, platform and boom lifts, Grove Crane operator, engine balance systems, electronic aircraft maintenance manuals.
