I am currently employed by Ontario Power Generation as a TERM electrician/control technician and have been working in the fuel handling department for 5 years. Throughout the duration of my employment with OPG I have implemented the skills necessary to provide consistent, quality work within the complex systems involved in the nuclear industry.Specific successful projects that I have been a part of with OPG include Units 1, 3 and 4 defuel campaigns, return to service of units 1,2 and 3, as well as Power track cable replacements and ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting.Prior to working for OPG, I was a part of multiple renewable construction projects in Northern and Western Ontario, Quebec as well as within the United States. A handful of projects include Henvey Inlet wind project South of Sudbury, Amherst Island in Bath, ON, and Refurbishment and rewire project in Charles City, IA. Working on the road allowed me to accomplish complex and challenging work while also building new relationships with multiple work groups internationally.I am a natural leader, self-motivated, dependable, and I enjoy taking on new challenges. Outside of work, I love to play hockey, golf, snowboard and pursue an active, healthy lifestyle. As an avid traveler I am always looking for the next region to encounter.
