Eric is managing director-senior vice president in Northmarq’s San Diego office where he provides financing solutions for owners and developers of multifamily and commercial real estate. He has been in the commercial mortgage banking business in San Diego since 1986. Eric joined Northmarq in 2009 and oversees the San Diego office.Eric has arranged more than $4.2 billion of permanent, construction, and bridge debt; and structured financing involving mezzanine, preferred equity and joint venture equity. Property types primarily comprise multifamily, office, industrial and retail. Capital sources consist of insurance companies, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, CMBS, debt funds, banks and institutional equity investors. Deal sizes range from $5M to $200M+. He has closed transactions in 15 states throughout the US.His passion is to provide unsurpassed service, efficiently secure the optimal financing for each client’s needs, and be proactively involved during the entire life of the loan.Prior to Northmarq, he was a producer and managed Capmark Finance Inc.’s (fna GMAC Commercial Mortgage and nka Berkadia) San Diego office from 1994 to 2009.
