Board experience as project manager for major capital program projects, ranging from new starts of rail extension projects to seismic retrofit of existing BART guideway structures and buildings. Responsible for project deliver from the environmental planning/scoping and budgeting stage through construction, and finally, operation certification. Held various positions and responsibilities in engineering, project and construction management for rail transit, utility company and consulting engineering firms. Vast experience in working with local governments, third party utility companies, architectural and engineering disciplines, and other project stakeholders. Before retirement from BART, managed BART Structural Engineering including 5 California RSEs and 3 are RCEs.
