As a Senior at University of Vermont, I worked with a team of engineers to design, build, and test a chipper/shredder used for tough yard waste. Throughout the project, I gained experience in the design process, designing for manufacturing, fabricating using machinery, and test analysis. Using SolidWorks, I created 3D models of each component for CNC fabrication and simulation testing. I worked with machinery such as a laser cutter, mill, lathe, welder, and drill press.

As an intern with AKF Group LLC, I worked within a team of engineers to design plans for Electrical, HVAC, and Fire Protection systems in commercial sized buildings.I worked in conjunction with architects, clients, and other engineers to insure project plans were adapted to their needs. I was responsible for making sure all created plans followed government regulations, and building codes.
