HalaZone Technologies Limited is a UAE-based Green Project Finance Company. It was founded and it is led by a team of experts in Data Science, Energy, and Project Finance. HalaZone enables companies and governments to originate and create high quality, high value carbon credits and carbon offsets, and to use those assets to generate liquidity and access green project finance.

For 13 years, Savannah Energy invested in, developed, and built African upstream and midstream oil and natural gas companies. It started with Black Marlin Energy in 2005 and that company became one of the largest upstream acreage and interest holders in East Africa. Following its IPO in 2009, the shareholders agreed to sell the company to Afren plc. The next notable venture was the 2009/10 Reverse Takeover of Artumas Group, which became Wentworth Resources plc (acquired in 2023 by Maurel et Prom SA, a Pertamina company). Wentworth Resources was the second largest interest holder in the prolific Mnazi Bay and Msimbati Gas Fields in southern coastal Tanzania. Wentworth and its partners supplied Tanzania with natural gas that generated 50% of all electricity in the country.
