Served as the CTO where I provided technical guidance over the growth of the organization. This included serving as a developer contractor for several clients as well as being the sole developer for internal projects needed for the organization. - Onboarded and developed features for a Next.js application written using a Strapi and Firebase backends. - Worked with other members of the leadership team to develop a business plan for future growth and recognition. - Created the organization’s website using Strapi as the content management system and Angular to generate the pages. Then created a build workflow to generate static pages for better searching capabilities. - Created a multi-tenant service ticket system used by clients to interact with our organization if there are any issues with their Kubernetes clusters. - Created an automated process to migrate a client’s git repositories from GitLab to GitHub as well as an automated process to update all existing Kubernetes deployment configurations to look for new artifact locations. - Worked with another client to create several web services using their proprietary REST service libraries in Java. - Worked with the same client on an existing web application by expanding it to include new sections for different key aspects of their billing processes.

Served as a senior software engineer and tech lead over a couple other engineers around the core Conjur product including the open source project as well as the paid for enterprise components. Led initiative to better organize and manage requirements and technical design. Also worked with architects to better define the software using industry standards. - Upgraded an authentication component to allow SNI certificate functionality within Kubernetes which allowed customers to utilize SNI on their Kubernetes API server. - Worked with management to better document processes and procedures to give new hires more information on what our products are and how they work. - Worked to define the REST API into an OpenAPI format and better define the API to follow industry standards. - Worked with our infrastructure team to slim down the release process so that product releases weren’t taking an engineer a full week to prepare and deploy. - Worked with Product Owner, QA Architect, and Manager to better define stories, technical designs, and use cases so that the work going to other engineers was fully defined instead of containing lots of gaps.

- Developed high and low level designs for a near real-time data synchronization process to keep data in the store systems and data center/cloud in sync. - Evaluated in house development vs vendor products to determine best solution for several components

- Developed a real time caching solution using Java, Postgres, Redis, and GoldenGate JMS, to load and keep cached data in sync with the source system. This reduced the response time of the service from 15+ seconds down to 1.5 seconds.- Developed standard Helm charts for deploying single and multiple Java Docker containers, Postgres database containers, and Redis cache containers to the RedHat Kubernetes platform, Openshift- Worked on large project where we wrote 50+ micro and composite services to help with the upgrade of a member portal project - Worked on a large migration project to move all of the services from using JBoss to using Openshift. All projects were containerized and brought up to Java 8 standards.- Worked on a large integration project with Salesforce by leveraging Enterprise Integration Patterns to create a full RESTful suite of services. - Developed multiple async operations using JMS and the WSO2 ESB to apply updates to the companies claims adjudication application.- Worked on re-writing two large enterprise web services to new versions with Spring Boot. - Worked on a prototype and determined proper set up steps for using OAuth for REST authentication and authorization using companies existing ESB architecture.

Served as lead developer and application architect while working on client and internal applications. - Created a cloud service management application called Nexus App with a backend written in Java and frontend written in AngularJS - integrating several different services including Stripe for payments, SendGrid for email notifications, and Auth0 for authentication and user management. - Developed a quoting application based on Cisco quoting numbers and products for a client using AngularJS and C#.NET Web API backend.- Developed a customer portal web application in AngularJS with a C#.NET Web API backend- Automated a couple different integration applications to help automate data entry and synchronization between an ERP and an accounting application to save the company 1-man week per month- Added new features to existing PHP web application for a Whirlpool reseller for filtering and searching products
