I have an extensive background in General Management, Operations and Manufacturing Eng. While I enjoyed Operations, and had wished to continue in it, I was given an opportunity in 2013 to be responsible for the entire value stream from Sales to R&D in addition to traditional Manufacturing & Purchasing – I couldn’t have been happier and really enjoyed applying the Lean Techniques I’ve honed in Manufacturing over the years to Sales and R&D – what a transformation! I led the company until the Investors decided the payback was to long-horizon for their business model. I returned to FAURECIA in the position of a Regional Business Unit Leader – it is a GM position w/ responsibility from Materials through Depreciation in the P&L w/ Revenues of >$1.6 BUSD – and have been able to further improve myself and the Company’s result with what I learned during my COO experience w/ ACAT Global. I returned the RBU to profitable status, achieving Budget for the first time in over 10 years and have set a run rate equivalent to bench-mark levels in the JIT Seating Industry.I have been a student of Taiichi Ohno for over 20 years and teach the Team how to eliminate the muda every day. Operational excellence is where I strive. I have successfully applied all of the Toyota developed manufacturing systems and achieved excellent results. I have achieved one of the best HSE records in FAURECIA and set it on par for Global Excellence levels. I have developed and led the implementation of lean supply-chain models that have consistently achieved 30% or more of total lead-time reductions and finding the “lost cash” of an organization.Profitability is our key measurement and I have been instrumental in the US and abroad in leading teams with marginal performance records to true, sustainable profit levels through the streamlining of operations and implementation of lean tools. Modeling is one of my key skills and I have the unique ability to take the models from paper to reality.
