Integrated with product’s compare merge components to incorporate model fusion as part of transformation. Developed software tools to support the development environment and development processes of the ServiceBuilder product development teams. Highlights and achievements include:• Designed and developed Distributed Software Manager. DSM is a Java based toolset used to package, manage, patch and deploy software. It is a three-tier application using CORBA. • Designed and developed Stream Management and Update Manager, Perl based toolsets, that group logical changes within ClearCase, integrate with the corporate problem tracking software. These toolsets were cloned and used by many different groups in Nortel Networks• Developed Software Management processes, defining how ServiceBuilder managed its code in ClearCase. Process in use for over 4 years and successfully managed over 150 streams with over 400 users across five mutisites.• Influenced ServiceBuilder architecture, and ClearCase, packaging, and deployment strategies. • Customized and introduced corporate Problem Tracking system into ServiceBuilder, including the bringing up to speed of 200+ users.• Designed and developed web-based tools including, Loadinfo tool to display and modify Stream Management data, tools to interact with the corporate Problem Tracking system, and a lab scheduler enforcer.• Selected and interviewed candidates for internship.• Trained employees in the use of ClearCase, Update Manager, Stream Management, Problem Tracking, Distributed Software Manager.
