 Direct and develop team of 14 direct employees including production planning, master scheduling, shipping, receiving, and inventory control.  Create monthly sales and production forecast through collaboration with the planning team, operations, manufacturing, and program management. Forecast alignment essential to drive production requirements throughout the facility and ensure the facility meets customer expectation and plant financial obligations. Drive process improvements for production planning and shipping procedures. Responsible for creation of processes that drive overall system data accuracy including routings, planner exception messages, work cell efficiencies, and value stream capacity.

 Direct and develop team responsible for production planning, material planning, customer order management, shop floor inventory, and inbound and outbound logistics.  Cultivate supplier relationships for all OEM, Aftermarket, and Intercompany customer contacts. Responsible for all customer delivery performance reviews, 8D delivery improvement activities, drive internal processes to close gaps to all customer interface requirements. Responsible for the development of the plant SIOP process as well as the monthly SIOP forecast. Utilize cross functional involvement from Operations, Finance, Engineering, and Sales to develop rolling 24-month sales and production forecast as well as inventory and material plan.

 Cultivate relationships with all OEM, Aftermarket and Intercompany customers. Utilize relationships to improve sales forecast and identify risks to meeting requirements due to machine capacity, raw material constraints, or production lead times. Collaborate with finance, operations, quality, and HR to deploy monthly SIOP. Plan to including the rolling 12-month sales projection, production build schedule to support customer demand and finished goods strategy and gain alignment with operations team on actions required to achieve build plan including staffing strategies and overtime required.  Develop and drive strategic action plan to achieve and monthly and annual gross inventory and Days on Hand profit plan inventory targets. Work collaboratively across functions to ensure material plan supports efficient production throughout the value streams, minimizes excess and obsolescence risk, and reduces non-nettable inventory throughout the plant.  Deploy plant production schedule that aligns with demand fluctuations from customer base while maintaining prescribed inventory levels and achieving 98% on time customer delivery. Supervise and develop plant materials team including material handlers, shipping and receiving personnel, purchasing, material planning, production scheduling, inventory management, and shop floor execution

Lead daily meeting for daily improvement deployment for materials planning, production scheduling, and demand management with the materials team. Focused on the execution of daily standard work, root cause analysis, and A3 problem solving techniques to drive long term sustainable improvements over short term problem containment actions.Responsible for development of materials strategic targets for inventory turns, inbound and outbound freight, year over year labor and overhead cost reduction project development, and materials long range strategic plan.Develop and execute operational playbooks with a cross functional team to prescribe direct and indirect staffing requirements based on customer demand that meet or exceed delivery targets as well as financial obligations.Problem solve to create countermeasure action plans for under performing areas of the plant. Communicate action plans developed to close gap on inventory turns, inventory accuracy, late shipments, absorption shortfalls, and revenues misses to various levels of senior leadership.

Plan next year materials strategic targets for inventory days on hand, standard and premium freight spend, sales channel on time delivery targets, and supply chain continuous improvement projects.Analyze equipment capacity and customer demand requirements to identify capacity constraint operations in the plant. Collaborate with engineering, operations, and OPEX to develop strategy to improve equipment output while continuing to meet customer requirements.Responsible for the daily supervision of 6 salaried employees including 2 planner, 1 MRO buyer, Master production scheduler, Logistics supervisor, and Inventory control supervisor.Serve as the escalation point for raw material shortages as well as any customer delivery risk situations. Work with the production team and suppliers to develop a plan to support plant production.
