Mainly responsible for installation and troubleshooting of intrusion, access control, environmentaland IP/CCTV camera systems. Day to day activities include interacting and supporting the customer,running low voltage cable, communications cable, bending/installing EMT conduit, installing securitydevices (contacts, switches, relays, temp sensors, gas sensors, smoke, glass break, audio, timers, cardreaders and other security devices), wiring complex multi-module IP-based security and access controlpanels, reading blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams; extensive use of own hand and powertools; strong familiarity with electronic testing equipment and procedures. Certified in working fromheights as well as a variety of elevated platforms (Skyjack, Genie; scissor and boom lifts; extension andstep ladders.)

Working with the lead hand, responsible for installing building control devices, pulling/fishingwire; conduit pipe bending and installation; VFD installation and configuration; motor and otherelectric circuit troubleshooting; sensor wiring and installation; extensive use of own hand and powertools; strong familiarity with electronic testing equipment. Also assisting with set-up of software,network troubleshooting and mechanical work such as minor plumbing, installing valves, electricalpanels, transformers and sheet metal.
